Absolutely a must! We were in the area looking for a place to sit down and have an authentic Italian dining experience. We walked in the front door and were met by Dora. Even though we didn't have a reservation, she welcomed us right in to a beautiful table for four. When Dora heard we were from Canada, she was excited to tell us about her trip to Niagara Falls. We then asked her what she would recommend. She created the most spectacular five-course Italian culinary lineup we have ever had. The service was incredible, and we were constantly attended to by one of the servers. Dora and her staff made our experience so memorable, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. I can't say enough about the service and food. Gratzi
Very nice and friendly family-run restaurant. The food was amazing! We opted for Chef's choice of three first courses (two pasta and one risotto) to share. It was all delicious! For a dessert, our host Dora suggested babà al rhum, and it was excellent! We had a great time and would recommend it to our friends.
Really nice place, the starters and main were so delicious that we had to try the desserts and had 100% success with the food. I especially recommend the lamb pasta if it's on offer. We turned up in shorts and fairly dishevelled after a hot afternoon in Naples, in hindsight i would have made a bit more of an effort as I felt a bit under dressed but no one held it against us and we were warmly welcomed.
Vegetarian options available. Broccoli and porcini pastas were great, desserts were yummy. Very romantic comforting feeling to it! Service was really lovely
Please go to this restaurant, you will not get any better in Naples. DORA AND MARCO - friends for life. Best service and even better food. My wife and I will go back every night.
This old school joint was a perfect dinner experience in a congested area of Naples filled with tourist trap spots. They had an amazing selection of wine, entrees were phenomenal had the steak with roasted peppers (pictured) but one of best thing was the custom plates they had, should have asked to keep one
Very nice and cozy restaurant. We went for first dishes (only pasta), they were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and not expensive at all - about 12 euro per dish and additional 6 euro for fresh truffles, very fair price.
We had a great time.
Our AirBnb host, Pasquale, recommended this restaurant. We had no idea it would be an extraordinary meal as we fumbled our way to find the location taking an elevator from a lower street to a higher street. This is not the average tourist restaurant and we sensed it as soon as we walked in. Lovely people, real food, with perfect wine pairing for our tastes. We have one restaurant we long to return to in Venice and now this will be added to our short list of particularly memorable meals.
